STANDARD FEATURES

DAP.JPG
Dead Air Panel System
An often overlooked testing requirement of NFPA 1971 for construction of bunker gear is Conductive Compressive Heat Resistance (CCHR). The reason for this requirement is areas such as shoulders and knees get compressed and heat can transfer more readily through the garment in those areas.

Dead Air Panels increase insulation in key areas without reducing mobility or trapping moisture vapor by utilizing the best insulator in the world... AIR! This patented design prevents system compression, guaranteeing the retention of dead air insulation in critical areas .

Dead Air Panel Advantages:
• Added protection in arm and shoulder
   areas
• Increased TPP and CCHR
• Flexible
• Twice the required protection per
   NFPA 1971

OPTIONAL FEATURES

Heat Release

Liner Option

LINER.JPG
This is the latest patent-pending design feature designed to minimize firefighter heat stress by providing vents that allow warm/moist air normally trapped inside the liner to rise and escape at the chest and shoulder blades through vents.
As the warm air escapes when the collar and top of coat closure are opened, cooler/drier air enters through the four liner vents at the bottom of the coat.

Telescopic Pant Waterwell Option

WATERWELL.JPG
One of the most prevalent ingress of particulates in bunker gear is up the pant legs. The Telescopic Waterwell blocks particulates allowing ample movement while preventing the cuffs from riding up, and blocks thermal ingress from situations where a heat source is below you.

Core Shield

Option

The Pro Fit Pant design is a  tailored fit that maximizes mobility through pattern engineering.

The new design offers:
  • Lowered front for a comfortable fit
  • Diamond crotch that reduces weight
  • Optimal knee alignment that eliminates knee roll and reduces cuff retraction.
